Dragonfly Cottage on Beautiful Mountainview Lake

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly lake house tucked away in the beautiful Lake Sunapee region. Swim, fish and kayak on this quiet, serene lake. Hike the trail around the lake or Mount Sunapee trails to catch the breathtaking views. Watch the sun rise lake side in the morning and kayak out onto the water at dusk to catch the sunset. In the winter go skiing at nearby Mount Sunapee, just 3 minutes away. Snowmobile access is right down the road and don't forget ice fishing. The space Inside to the right is the a well appointed kitchen with new appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and Keurig combo unit and all the pots and pans and cooking utensils you will need to make meals just like at home. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom with a large shower stall, towels, shampoo and soap. Walk through the kitchen and turn into the living room and dinning room space. Sit and eat your meals overlooking the lake or lounge in the living room and enjoy the 43 inch Roku flat screen TV. Please note that free wi-fi is available through out the house. The Master bedroom is next with a beautiful platform bed that includes drawers underneath for storage and Vista II queen size mattress with memory foam top. Wake up to the views of the lake while lounging in bed. The AC wall unit in the bedroom coupled with ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room/dinning room keep the space cool and comfortable in the warmer weather. In the cold months the first floor has radiant heat throughout. When you enter the house and turn left , go through the door and you can go straight ahead into the garage where you will find 2 kayaks and a paddle board at your disposal. Please make use of the life jackets when you go out onto the water. Included are recycling totes and a large trash bin to help you keep your kitchen clutter free. There is also a gas dryer for your towels and swimsuits and skiing or snowmobiling clothing. The best part of this lake house is through the other door and up the stairs to Lake View Loft. Huge windows overlook Mountain View Lake. It's a large sunny room with a double bed and two twin beds. The platform beds include 2 drawers each for storage and Vista II mattresses with memory foam tops. Lay in bed and enjoy the view of the lake or watch a movie at night on the 50 inch Roku flat screen TV. For those desiring a bit of inside exercise enjoy the lake view on the stationary bike. The loft includes a free standing AC unit coupled with a ceiling fan to keep things comfortable. The baseboard heat works fast in the cold months and the carpeted floor adds to the comfort. Directly across the road is a stretch of lawn and your access to the water. Relax on the picnic table or sit by the fire pit at night. Guest access Please park directly in front of the garage and also to the left of the garage. The property can comfortably handle 3 vehicles. Please avoid parking on the lake side of the road. Hamel Rd is a dead end road making it a quiet neighborhood. you will see residents walking there dogs or enjoying a stroll to the end of the road where there is a walking path that winds around the edge of the lake. Our neighbors out back have right of way to the water through the water front area that you will be enjoying. If they come around please say Hi. You will find the neighborhood to be a friendly community. Other things to note ***A 3 Day Minimum Stay is required from June through Mid-September and usually a 2 Day Minimum the rest of the year. ***PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED*** ***PLEASE NOTE: This house is located in a quiet, family-friendly residential neighborhood. Our neighbors and visitors are here to enjoy the serenity of the lake. This home is not the right setting for a party or for groups looking to be loud and boisterous.
