A private Georgian country-house wing for relaxed family gatherings, with five spacious bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, snooker room, large kitchen, long-table dining, private courtyard, lake, woods and walks from the door. Sleeps 12 comfortably, with 4 flexible beds for larger family groups by arrangement. Outdoor games, bbqs and outdoor pizza oven, and a scullery to support it, with a fridge, ice machine, dishwashers and plates and kitchen equipment Guests have a private entrance, courtyard and garden, and shared large gravel carpark, lakeside and woodland Shared EV charger Supercharger available 2 miles away Other things to note No music outside Dogs welcome We suggest shoes off inside (slippers provided) Washing up must be done in the sculleries, the kitchen is for food preparation only (we’ve had to put drains into an old house, so they block if not treated correctly) The lake fills or not on a natural spring; in summer it is variable. There is also river access by the lake (private), a small river, wild and with otters; and the river fills a mill pond which is shallow but swimmable, at the end of the drive (1k, not private). Alderford lake is a good option too
