Gîte des Chênes

Small independent fully equipped F3 type cottage, located on the edge of an oak wood, south facing with views of the Pyrenees and the surrounding countryside. Calm assured for nature lovers. Privileged location offering a wide variety of leisure and sports activities but also close to industrial and artisanal activity areas. - 600 m from the Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. - about ten kilometers from the Pau Arnos circuit. - 6 km from the Lacq industrial area. The space This gîte has been entirely self-built, favoring an eco-responsible autonomy approach: - maximum use of local natural materials (wood, terracotta, cork, etc.), - privileged craftsmanship and self-construction of the present furniture, - dry toilets or chip toilets (no waste of drinking water), rainwater collector, - preserved environment allowing the free movement of wildlife (deer, wild boar, hares...). - presence of some hives favoring the presence of pollinating insects and the production of local honey. Guest access The cottage is completely independent, vehicle parking is shaded and secure. Other things to note I want to preserve the calm of the site. So I don't allow parties and receptions. The interior of the gîte is a non-smoking area. Towels are extra (3 euros per towel on request only).
