Gîte des Chênes

Small independent cottage fully equipped type F3, located on the edge of an oak wood, south exposure with views of the Pyrenees and the surrounding countryside. Peace assured for nature lovers. Privileged location offering a wide variety of leisure and sports activities but also close to industrial and artisanal activity areas. - 600 m from the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. - about ten kilometers from the Pau Arnos circuit. - 6 km from the Lacq industrial zone. The space This gite was fully self-built by prioritizing an eco-friendly autonomy approach: - maximum use of local natural materials (wood, terracotta, cork, etc.), - artisanal fabrication and privileged self-construction of the furniture present, - dry toilets or chip toilets ( no waste of drinking water), rain-water reclaimer, - unspoilt environment allowing the free movement of wildlife (deer, wild boars, hares...). - presence of a few hives promoting the presence of polinating insects and the production of local honey. Guest access The Gite is completely independent, vehicle parking is shaded and secure. Other things to note I want to preserve the calm of the site. So I don't allow parties and receptions. The interior of the cottage is a non-smoking area. Bathroom towels are extra (3 euros per towel on request only).
