The space Chioggia is the perfect retreat after a busy day in the lagoon, the beach, Padua or Venice. The flat is situated on the first floor in the old and charming part of Chioggia, in one “calle” (name of streets in Chioggia as well as Venice) between a real fishermen canal and the main “vein” of the town centre, opposite the town-hall. In Chioggia the changes of light during the day and in the evenings are spectacular. The whole scenery is authentic and gives you a real feeling of being in Italy, in a little Venice which still retains the authentic flavour of a fishing town. The streets are calm at night and very busy during the day, as people from Chioggia love living outside, chatting and sharing pleasures. The flat itself was completely renovated just few years ago (completely meaning everything as only the perimeter walls of the house were kept) and is pretty: the style and composition of the materials used, with care for little details, is great. It has every comfort one needs: very good closing modern windows with built-in mosquito nets (although there are very few mosquitos in the area), good closing window shutters (that make the flat absolutely dark at night), quiet air-conditioning, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine, etc. as well as outside lines for hanging your laundry to dry. The two bedrooms are quiet and with the comfort of the air conditioning, produced by one central unit, you will sleep very well even during a hot summertime. 2 foldable cots are available for smaller children on request. It really is situated so central, that you are in 2-5 minute walking distance from almost everything, like the fish market, the central pedestrian road with nice cafés and restaurants, the transport to Venice and Padua, etc. Just down the same “calle” some of the best restaurants in town (La Taverna, more chic, and Ristorante Palazzo, cheaper but good), filled with local clientele, a wine bar and an ice-cream shop. Please ask for information regarding your transport options and I will give you the best options, whether you arrive by public transport or you need parking options to keep your car safe or you need some bicycles to discover all the beauties of Chioggia and Sottomarina. If you want to stay in Chioggia in style and quietly, then this is the perfect flat for you. To prevent infections, the flat is sanitized. Guest access The entire apartment (only the boiler room that serves as a storage room is kept closed). If the booking is for two people, the second bedroom will not be usable. If you require two bedrooms, enter 3 people in the reservation. Other things to note There is a tourist tax which will be asked on behalf of the local council at your arrival, which is €1,60/day/person (from 6 to 75 years old, for up to 10 nights) and will have to be paid in cash.
