River Cross Estate Homestay

Located at the heart of the valley in the midst of Western Ghats, a sprawling Coffee estate, River Cross Estate is a truly offbeat experience. The Setup consists of two cottages sitting on the bank of a stream which flows throughout the year. Surrounding you is acres of world’s best Shade grown mild coffee. Take a break from life in the concrete jungle and experience the cuisine and life in the Western Ghats. Hike around the coffee estate or relax and give in to the tunes of nature. The space The two cottages are located on the banks of a little stream in the midst of a sprawling 70 acre coffee plantation. Each cottage can accomodate upto 8 people and has two attached washrooms with hot water facilities available throughout. The cottages have a refrigerator and continuous power back up. Guest access The estate is conveniently situated at 6 Kms from the Picturesque town of Mudigere and about 22 Kilometres from the District Headquarters of Chikmaglur. The scenic Devaramane Hills, Charmudi Ghats, the unexplored Devegudda peaks are all within 20 Kms from the estate. The tallest Peak in Karnataka Mullayanagiri, Bababudangiri, Kudremukha, Kemmangundi,the temple town Dharmasthala and Horanadu, Rafting at Balur and Balehonnur are all about an hours drive from the estate. If you want to go out and visit the tourist attractions around Chikmalgur, you are at the right place. Transport arrangements will also be made on request. Other things to note Please note that we also provide a package on 'Per person' basis. The package will be inclusive of breakfast and dinner(Since having food at hotels is not feasible) and the accommodation as well as few activities in the estate. The package per person is 2000/- per person inclusive of breakfast and dinner.
