Carrick Lodge at The Old Church, secluded retreat

Carrick Lodge is one of two lodges within the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church. Set in a semi-rural location, it is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a lovely private, secluded and sheltered covered decking area with wood burning stove, allowing you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is less than a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive. The space Carrick Lodge is well equipped with a super king bed with a lovely comfortable mattress, a spacious en suite with a large shower and a kitchen area. The kitchen area has a sink with an instant boiling water tap for tea and coffee, a fridge, a combination microwave/grill/oven, toaster, crockery and cutlery. All you need to make breakfast or a simple meal which can be eaten at the breakfast bar. There is also a small portable induction hub. The Lodge has a TV and WIFI, you can watch your own Netflix account through the Now TV app. The secluded, sheltered and covered private deck and wood burner is a real treat, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted views of open countryside all year round. Guest access You have your own parking, your own entrance, your own secluded and sheltered covered deck, wood burner and your own view looking onto country side. Our check-in and check-out times are necessary due to extended cleaning times, we can’t currently offer flexibility on these times. Other things to note There are several bespoke catering options you can enjoy. You can visit The Ayrshire Home Cook School for cooking lessons which comes highly recommended by other AirBNB guests. Coastal Kitchen Ayrshire caters for intimate dinners through to large events and focus on using the best locally sourced high-quality ingredients. We welcome small dogs in Carrick Lodge which must be booked in advance. For the enjoyment of all guests, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead within the grounds of The Old Church and are not left unattended in Carrick Lodge. Registration Details SA-00933-F
