The space Please scroll down for a description in English. :) Our barn is a clean, stylish and comfortable unique place where you will definitely enjoy yourself! Lapua has plenty to see and experience: the vibrant Vanhan Paukun cultural center, the Art Museum, the Jokilaakso tourist garden, Simpsiö, the Alajoki lake, the cathedral... You can easily reach the Powerpark and the numerous events in Seinäjoki in half an hour. The barn has a sleeping area with blackout curtains, a radiator on both the upper and lower floors, a fan for summer heat, a folding table, two chairs, a kettle, dishes, a full-length mirror, towels, breakfast supplies (vegans taken into account!) and snacks, coffee, tea, etc. The fireplace room has a fridge for guests. The toilet and bathroom, as well as the fireplace room, are located in the main house and are directly accessible through the covered terrace and the back door. These facilities are reserved for our guests only during their stay, and your privacy is guaranteed. You may see and hear the people of the house, but we will not come to the premises reserved for guests! Upstairs there is a 140 cm wide mattress next to which it is possible to place a mattress as an extra bed. Due to the access opening, this mattress is about 30 cm shorter than normal, but it works well as an extra bed. If your child has a travel cot, it can fit downstairs. You can put a single bed in the fireplace room, but this space is not allowed to be dark on summer nights. Guests are free to enjoy our yard. Terrace, yard games and board games are all available. In addition, next to the barn there is a small patio to chill out with a morning coffee or, for example, a sausage roast. For dog guests, there is a cage and a cabin right next to the cottage. They are also welcome to stay overnight on the lower floor of the barn. Our own nice but sometimes barking dogs are likely to greet you with barking as you move around the terrace or inside the main house. Feel free to ask for more! Lapua has a lot to offer: the vibrant Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku, Lapua Art Museum, Jokilaakso Gardens, Simpsiö mountain, the plains of Alajoki, cathedral... Powerpark Funland and the numerous events in Seinäjoki are all within an easy 30-minute drive away from us. The cottage has a sleeping area with blinds, a radiator both upstairs as well as downstairs, a fan for hot summer weather, a fold-down table and two chairs, a kettle, essential kitchenware, a full-length mirror, towels, breakfast supplies (with vegan options!), snacks, coffee, tea, etc. There is a fridge for our guests in the main building. The bathroom is located in the main building and is accessible through our roofed terrace using the back door. The bathroom facilities are reserved for the guests' use only during your stay and your privacy is ensured. You may hear and see us, but we will not invade your space! The mattress upstairs is 140 cm wide. It is possible to fit another extra mattress next to it to make room for a child, for example. The extra mattress will be about 30 cm shorter than standard length but finely does its job as an extra bed nonetheless. If your child has a travel cot, it will fit downstairs. We can also make a single bed in the main house in the room with a fireplace connected to the bathroom and terrace - however, this room will let in all the light of the Finnish summer nights. Our guests are free to enjoy and use our garden. We have a terrace, games, etc. freely available for you. There is also a little patio in front of the cottage on which you may enjoy your morning coffee or perhaps roast some marshmallows or grill sausages as the sun sets. We have a kennel for our canine guests right next to the cottage. Dogs are also welcome to stay downstairs in the cottage. Our own sweet yet occasionally barky doggies are likely to greet you with barks as you go in and out of the back door or bathroom. Please feel free to ask anything. I'm very happy to answer. Guest access Downstairs there is a living room and a mini kitchen with a kettle. Upstairs is a sleeping area and you can get there by climbing up the poles. The bathroom in our home is accessed directly through the terrace and the back door. You have access to both the terrace, the fireplace room and the backyard with a football goal. We respect your privacy! The sauna and barbecue hut are available by appointment (€10). The downstairs area is a living space with small kitchen facilities (kettle). The upstairs is for sleeping and is accessible using a ladder. The family bathroom is accessible via the terrace and through the back door. You will have free use of the terrace, back room as well as the back garden equipped with a soccer goal. We respect your privacy! The sauna and the barbecue hut are at your disposal upon agreement (10 €). Other things to note We are happy to answer your questions! Our dogs bark to announce guests.
