'Vila Eduarda' is a country house, located in a century-old property, where in the past there were red wine and brandy production. Originally built eighty years ago, this country house ends a lot of history passed from generation to generation. Today, it offers all conforts of a modern house, allowing for a dream stay for its guests. Outside, lawn gardens, various trees and the view of the Agua de Pau mountain make this an wonderful place. The space "Vila Eduarda" is located by the sea, in the place of Caloura, in the village of Água de Pau, in a prime area of the south coast of the island of São Miguel. The country house offers a beautiful green landscape, overlooking the Água de Pau mountain range, and is only 300 meters from the sea, 800 meters from a local beach, Baixa d'Areia, and the Caloura fishing port. This rustic-style dwelling consists of two floors. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with three beds (two single and one double). On the lower floor there is another bedroom with a double bed, a dining room with a fireplace, TV and Wi-Fi access throughout the house, a fully equipped kitchen with the necessary appliances, and a bathroom equipped with towels and toiletries included. Guest access The two floors of the villa are available to guests. Inside the house there are a door to the cellar, that should be closed and barred access. Other things to note As in the large urban centres, a tourist tax of two euros was recently approved in São Miguel island, which applies to each guest for the first three nights.
