For bigger groups upto 5-9, check out the Villa in the same farm. "Kabani Riverside Homestay" The space This 2 Acre mixed farm is located by the banks of the river Kabani. We grow, coffee, pepper, nutmegs, areca nuts, coco nuts including other spices, vegetables and rice. Kabani Riverside is situated by the road side, providing ease of access. Right across where we are is a 300 Acre Paddy farming collective, which provides year round occupation for the numerous tribal villages which surround it. Walking through these fields and among the tribals, gives a real world feel of the life and culture of Wayanad. The elaborate Kerala cusine, the tribal traditions and local handicrafts add to the flavour of your stay here. Leave it to us to plan your experience here. I personally love sitting by my campfire in the night here taking in the chill which settles during the early evening till night. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire farm and the surroundings. . Other things to note The place does not have a TV. This cottage was built based on our customers requests, to have a pure nature experience. Cottage is within a fenced 2 acre farm. The premise is secure, you may leave aside worries of how secure the place is in the night. Campfire & barbeque can be arranged, based on availability, at a nominal charge per night for about 2 hours. This will include the setting up charges for the effort involved. [Food required for barbeque can be arranged on actual cost.] Campfire is charged at INR 800 for one hour. Setting up of Barbecue is charged at INR 800 for two hours plus additional charges based on the number of items and quantity. Please note that the property is run by the family and there is limited manpower, however we will try our best to meet any specific requirements.
