The Villa is situated in an ancient country building located in Arezzo, twenty minutes walk from the historic center and surrounded by shops, supermarkets, restaurants within a few minutes walk. By car you reach the downtown and the treain station in about 10 minutes; moreover, the structure is close to places of interest such as the Equestrian Centre. The space The environment to rent is the ground floor of the main house and occupies the area, very fresh, of the ancient cellars. You can access the separate entrance from the large private and fenced parking, also suitable for caravans and campers. The current main building configuration came from a thirteenth century watchtower, which controlled the traffic of Via Romana, the main artery into the city. Over time the tower was expanded, and the site has become a hospital, a post office and an inn, until it assumed in the nineteenth century the role of the corporate center of a vast agricultural property when houses and surrounding land was purchased from the family who is still the owner. Guest access The recent renovation has made it possible to create three comfortable independent rooms with access to an equipped kitchen, a small gym, and a billiard room.. The garden, rich in vegetation, enclosed, of about 3,500 sqm, for the exclusive use of guests just like the rest of the house, is also comfortable for pets. A charming shaded area is created by a wrought iron gazebo made by a Sienese artist, covered with wisteria. Inside the garden, there is a pool measuring 12x7 sqm; it has a circular but irregular shape that evokes a small pond, with a curved bottom and a maximum depth of 170 cm; it is equipped with internal lighting and is bordered by a stone courtyard and a building with a porch that contains a storage room for pool equipment, a bathroom with a shower, and a laundry area. In front of the main building, near the pool, there is a large outdoor dining/living area, equipped with a wood oven and barbecue. Other things to note The manor house has all the characteristics of a classic Tuscan country house. It has been perfectly restored, using high-quality materials and techniques, like the nearby annexes, and equipped with every comfort, including drinking water outside, a small gym and also a billiard room . The villa has all the advantages of a city house: surrounded by shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, etc.; twenty minutes on foot from the center of Arezzo, and close to the train station and the highway exit. The Villa also retains all the characteristics of a country house: a vast garden rich in vegetation, private and fenced, a swimming pool, and a large outdoor dining/living area, both located in a sheltered position, to be enjoyed in complete relaxation and full freedom.
