Delightful one bed Gite with use of pool

Nestled in the heart of Rochechouart, Numéro 66, is a delightful house with fantastic views over the adjacent valley. The house provides high quality accommodation and is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Haute-Vienne countryside and the nearby lakes of the High Charente. The town centre, parts of which are medieval, is a few minutes stroll away with eateries, shops, cafes and a beautiful chateau which houses a museum of modern art. The space Rochechouart makes an excellent base for exploring this beautiful area, or even as a stop over en route to other areas. As soon as you arrive you will be struck by the attention to detail that your hosts Karen and Peter have provided. The comfortable double bedroom is light and airy. Lovely stone steps lead up to a fully equipped living area, and good sized shower room. There is a private patio with table and chairs - ideal for enjoying the evening sun. There is on site parking for one car and you can also use the heated out door swimming pool during the day, this is our family home and the pool is situated in our garden but you are very welcome to use it. The pool is only for use by you as gite guests and ourselves. Guest access The house is a separate part of the property with it's own entrance and patio area. There is also a garden with picnic table provided for your use and a BBQ is available on request. Access to the pool is via the front of the main property and is available for use from 09.00 to 17.00 after which it is closed for cleaning and personal use. The pool is not shared with other guests but may be used by the owners. Other things to note The swimming pool is closed from October 14th to May the 28th Since January 2019 we have to collect a tax de sejour on your departure of 1€ per person per night.
