Dairy Cottage (Munden House)

Dairy Cottage is the smallest of our Cottages but very comfortable and characterful and an ideal private place for a couple to enjoy a quiet stay. We include a delicious continental breakfast for the first morning of your stay but for many this lasts longer. Guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful garden which is across the courtyard with plenty of places to sit. It is less than a five minute drive into Sherborne with it's historic Abbey, excellent resturants and individual shops. The space The well equipped kitchen area has a full sized fridge / freezer, oven and hob, microwave and all you need to self cater if you wish. A comfortable sofa faces the Smart TV that included Netflix. The bedroom is small but very comfortable with a king-size bed made up with crisp Egyptian cotton linen, feather duvet and pillows. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, a basin and loo. A luxury continental breakfast is provided to enjoy for the first morning of your stay. This includes stewed fruits from the garden, home made muesli, yoghurt, and fruit juice, delicious bread from the 100 year old bakery next door, and home made jams and marmalade. There is a table and chairs outside of Dairy Cottage and we also have a large garden with plenty of seating areas that you are welcome to use. Dairy cottage has Wi-Fi. Guest access Guest will have private use of the entire cottage and are totally independent. Guest are also welcome to use the garden which has plenty of places to sit. Other things to note We are in the Dorset countryside on a quiet lane with beautiful views from the 2 acre garden across the Blackmore vale towards BulBarrow Hill. However, it is less than a five minute drive into the historic town of Sherborne with it's many independent shops, wonderful Abbey and two castles.
