Natural Mystic Sanctuary - Valley View - Room 2

Far from the main road, surrounded by tea & rain forest our place is a true sanctuary to recover and reconnect with nature. Explore our 6 acres hill land with it's river & pools, flora & fauna, wildlife & valley views or just relax at your private veranda to rain forest sounds. We are Eco friendly with own water source & solar system plus grow different organic fruits, vegetables, spices and herbs. The space Located away from civilization, in the middle of nature makes our place naturally quiet and very private. The Bungalow on top offers great views over the valley with tee plantations and patches of ancient rain forest. A small river with natural pools, just a few minutes away from the room, invites one for a refreshing bath when it's hot. It surrounds half of our property of six acres hill land. The room is a bit smaller than the neighbouring room yet with a comfortable king size bed and en suite bathroom incl. hot water. Due to the mild climate we don't need any AC as well as the room is designed to stay cool and there are very view mosquitos. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available. We do vegetarian Sri Lankan as well as western dishes. Guest access The acess to our Sanctuary is by crossing a small river at the drop off point on Batandura road / bridge and walking up a stone path by foot (or with a suitable vehicle (4WD)). You can enjoy our entire property by foot on a round path (about 600 m long). It goes from the main buildings down to the river with our main pool and bends along the river down to the bottom part where a Mud Cabana and Event Hall next a big Banyan tree is situated. The path brings you back up to the main buildings and has scenic views over the valley. During your stay Our local team welcomes guest and guides to their rooms. We are also mostly around and happy to have a chat but since we are a small team and often engaged in other farm work we won't be available all the time. We ask our guest to let us know their food orders as soon as possible. As well as organising tours to the Rainforest Reserve needs some advance notice to make sure you get the best guides. We cook freshly local and western dishes like vegetarian Rice and Curry, Breakfast, Pasta and much more for reasonable prices. Since we are health conscious, we only use healthy ingridients (no MSG, only pure and natural vegg and fruit). If the time allows it, we love to show guests our Sanctuary, explain about the nature plus how we are contributing to save the rainforest. Just let us know if you have any wishes and be open about things we can improve. Other things to note Many guests plan to visit the Sinharaja Rain forest Reserve which is about 30 minutes by Tutuk away from us. We arrange tours and work with certified, knowledgeable guides who love to share their knowledge about flora, fauna and wildlife.
