Description
Pendragon House is an eco community on the edge of Glastonbury town. Basic self catering facilities are shared by our 3 airbnb rooms. Only five minutes' walk from the centre of town, our south facing views over the Somerset levels let you see the mists of Avalon rolling in early morning and flocks of starlings swooping at dusk. Guests can enjoy our tree house and large trampoline (all used at your own risk). We do not provide breakfast, there are no internal locks except an inside bolt. The space This airbnb room is the nicest room in the house. It has massive windows with blackout blinds. There's a light beige fitted carpet which is freshly vacuumed before you arrive. The bed is a large comfortable multispring king; sheets are plain white or light coloured, freshly laundered and aired for each guest, the duvet is down feather (unless you have an allergy in which case we have alternatives), a lightweight duvet is also provided in Summer. The room, bathroom and shower are all cleaned and disinfected. There is a full length mirror, two comfortable armchairs, large wardrobe, dressing table, bedside table, extra mattress and bedding for third guest if needed. Guest access You are welcome along with other residents to use the garden. If you want to smoke please do it outside and dispose of cigarette butts in the bin at the driveway entrance. During your stay The house is a community with sustainable living ethic. We are friendly and will treat you like anyone else living or staying here; if you prefer privacy that will also be respected. Other things to note Currently (May 2025), on Saturdays at 1pm - 3pm we have 'ecstatic dance church'. If you are in your room during it, it will disturb you because it's directly above. On Mondays 4-6pm there is a singing circle in the room above that can also be quite loud. You're welcome to join in either event for free if you wish, they are open to the public, normally 10-20 people of all ages. In the dance visiting DJs provide a variety of music like Ibiza, drum & bass, world sounds, etc. The singing circle is for any ability, we sing celebratory 'rainbow' songs about the wonderful planet we live on and so on.
