Stunning Edwardian house with rooms by the sea #1

A delightful, family run Edwardian guest house located in a peaceful tree-lined avenue on the edge Bournemouth. Alexander Lodge is 2 minutes walk to the beautiful, award winning sandy beaches and cliff tops of Southbourne and the same short stroll to the wonderful local independent coffee shops, restaurants and gift shops of Southbourne Grove. The New Forest, Purbecks and Sandbanks are all within easy reach and all rooms have en-suite facilities. The space We have 2 large double rooms located on the second floor of the property, each with their own en-suite shower room and access to a small adjacent kitchenette that is shared between both rooms. The kitchen has plenty of fridge/freezer storage and is suitable for making your own drinks, breakfast and light snacks, but is not suitable for Jamie Oliver style catering!! We provide all bed linen and towels and service the rooms on alternate days. The rooms can be booked individually or if reserved together, will have exclusive use of the adjacent kitchen. Please note that these rooms are self-catering and the prices quoted do not include breakfast. Guest access We do have a small amount of on-site parking, but it cannot be guaranteed for our AirBnB guests. There is free unlimited street parking in Southern Road and the adjacent roads. Bournemouth train station is approximately 4 miles and Pokesdown train station about 1 mile. There are regular buses that run into Bournemouth town centre, Poole and Christchurch. During your stay We live on the premises and can be on hand for any queries. Other things to note Due to the limited space in our dining room we are unable to offer breakfast to guests that book via Airbnb.
