Kenilworth River Oaks on the Mary - pet friendly

River Oaks is joined to acres of dairy farming land and overlooks a horse stud across the river with direct access to the Mary River. We are located in a small riverfront laneway with just 3 properties, and yet just a 4 min drive to the village of Kenilworth. Children, adults and pets have a fabulous time spreading out on the river front lawns and accessing the river for swims, kayaking or fishing. Or just sit beside the outdoor (or indoor) fire and relax and unwind while the family play. The space River Oaks is just 4 minutes from the historic Kenilworth Village, 15 minutes to Eumundi Market, 25 minutes to Montville and 35 minutes to Noosa. We are pet friendly and allow your pet to sleep in the house with you.... for a small pet fee ($10 per pet / per night) at the time of booking. The house has air conditioning to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter... River Oaks offers a lovingly restored country farm house with a covered veranda overlooking the Mary River and beyond, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a serious gourmet’s French provincial kitchen, and breathtaking country views. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the home, house gardens, and the river flat between the house and river. The area immediately around the house is fenced for the safety of your children and pets. Other things to note The coffee machine is an 'Expressi Multi - Beverage Capsule Machine and it takes K-fee® – recommended Pods. The kitchen also features an airfryer and a smoothy blender. Greens and herbs available in the garden We welcome fishing folks, but recommend that you photograph, and release your catch as many of the Mary River stock is protected by law. Worms available if you ask the caretaker. The river birdlife is also spectacular, and well worth observing, and if you are lucky and silent, you may spot a local platypus. Different rates apply to school holidays and long weekends. If you book in advance, please be aware of a price difference for these dates. Long weekends require a 3 night minimum stay, and school holiday periods require zero or 2 nights between bookings. We rent the whole house, and you do not share it with other guests. This is not a party house and we do not provide a venue for weddings, functions and parties. Pets are welcome in the house, though not allowed in beds or on any furniture, and should not be left unattended in the house or on the property. Please don't allow them to bark or whine as sound travels far in the country. We ask that you remove all pet droppings and personal rubbish before you leave.
