The apartment is located in a quiet leafy inner city neighbourhood (6kms from the CBD). It is a 2 minute walk from the tram and a kilometre from the trains. Local shops (supermarket, liquour, pharmacy, newsagent, bakery, cafes and takeaways) are a 5 minute walk away. The tram will take you to the City and local shopping precincts, the Caulfield Racecourse and local hospitals. We are 2.5kms from the start of the Grand Prix Circuit (Albert Park Lake) and a tram ride from the Rod Laver Arena. The space The apartment is compact but stylish and is fully equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The space comprises two bedrooms, a lounge room, kitchen and bathroom and an outlook onto the front and rear gardens. The bedrooms comprise a large main bedroom with a queen size bed and a smaller second bedroom with a double bed. Both beds have an electric blanket. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, blender, coffee machine and all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, baking dishes and cooking utensils. The lounge-room has internet (which reaches all rooms) TV, DVD player, dvd's, books, magazines and games. The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine and dryer, hairdryer and spare cosmetic items in case you have forgotten something. Dimplex heaters are located in the lounge room and both bedrooms. The apartment looks out onto a front garden and there is also a garden at the back of the apartment along the pathway, which includes a herb garden for your use. There is also a small shared courtyard located near the apartment where you can enjoy a coffee. The apartment is located in a quiet art deco residential block in a very safe neighbourhood. The apartment has front and rear access and a parking space (200cm W & 450cm L) for a small to medium car. There is also street parking. No fees apply for parking on site or on the street. There is also an iron, ironing board, fans, computer table, vacuum cleaner and spare towels and linen in the apartment. Whether you have a short stay or a long stay, this space will provide you with the best of City living - close enough to the action but far enough away amongst the greenery and tranquillity of a quiet inner City suburb. The best of both worlds! Guest access The apartment is located on the ground floor and access is through a front security door to a hallway which leads to the apartment. There is also a rear entrance to the apartment. The whole apartment, parking space and small garden courtyard (shared), just outside of the apartment is available for your use. Other things to note If you wish to stay for a longer period of time and notice that some of the dates you are wanting aren't available, please get in touch because sometimes the dates are blocked out because we are interstate, but in fact the apartment could still be available. If you require an earlier check-in or later check-out, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this. You may be able to leave your luggage if you check out and need somewhere to store your luggage before moving on. While breakfast is not provided on a daily basis, some bakery items, butter, jams and fruit are provided just to get you started with breakfast on your first day. Cereal, milk, tea and coffee are always available for your use.
