Gite in Loir Valley not far from Loire Chateaux

19th century house with a wing converted to "Gite" for 4 persons (ideal for family) in small rural village in nice surrounding countryside in the Loir Valley; two big bedrooms of which one is in mezzanine with 2 beds. Nearby towns are Vendome (11km), Cloyes (22km), Montoire (29km), Blois (33km), Chartres (77 km). Driving times to some of the chateaux are : Chateaudun (29min), Talcy (31mins), Blois (39mins), Chambord (57min), Chaumont (56min), Amboise (59mins)...there are many others The space The lodging very agreable and spacious with a large flowered garden. There is an entry hall, kitchen, a small shower room (W/C, washbasin and shower), a large living area, a private bedroom and a large sleeping area upstairs in the mezzanine. Guest access By car, the village is 2h05 driving time directly south west of Paris (from Porte d’Orleans) ; Private parking for 3 to 4 cars in front of gite Other things to note There is available an electric plancha to make BBQ (also a Weber that uses charcoal). We also have many bicycles for exploring the many local forests. Chaises longues and deck chairs in the garden too. There are also many local maps, pamphlets on local attraction, guides and books on the Val de Loire region and the chateaux.
