Magica Vercio

The Magica Vercio vacation home is a prestigious cabin, built with traditional local materials - first and foremost wood and stone - and equipped with the utmost comforts to guarantee its guests a fantastic stay between the Alps and the great pre-Alpine lakes. Located at Alpe Vercio (800m above sea level), on the heights of Mergozzo, it is equipped with wood heating that makes it usable to visitors in every season. The space The chalet has a large living room with a kitchenette and dining area with a priceless view of the lakes. On the same floor you will find two bedrooms with bunk beds, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and another small bathroom with toilet and sink. From the pantry you can access an additional double bedroom with private bathroom. Upstairs, you will have access to a small gym, the equipped children's area, the Finnish sauna and a double bedroom (queen-size bed). Outside the house, a large space with stone table and deck chairs are the ideal place to relax, sunbathe or enjoy a nice lunch overlooking the lake. Guests also have access to a grill and wood-burning oven for pizza and... a heated tub! Guest access Guests will have the entire house, barbecue area and wood-burning oven, and heated tub at their disposal. In the house, you will find basic groceries, such as coffee, sugar, condiments, pasta, rice. Food supplies can be delivered to the house, by agreement with the owner. Other things to note I kindly ask my guests to contact me two hours before their arrival, so that we can arrange our meeting point. N.B. In the winter months (November - March) check-in is only possible from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ATTENTION: Alpe Vercio can be reached on foot or from Bracchio di Mergozzo in about an hour's walk uphill or from Alpe Ruspesso in 45 minutes of walking on a slight slope (see maps in the Image Gallery). If you do not feel like walking, we offer a jeep transport service (45 min - free) - as it is a private consortium road, it is NOT possible to access with your vehicle. N.B. In case of snow, we only offer a luggage transport service and the house must be reached on foot. In addition, you can reach us by helicopter (for a fee - contact us for more information).
