Quaint winegrower-artist's retreat in the middle of the Kaiserstuhl

Our house was an old winegrower's house, right next to the rippling village stream, in the middle of the old wine village of Bickensohl in the Kaiserstuhl in the vineyards. An artist has prepared it very lovingly for himself. We fell in love with the house right away. It has different levels, hidden corners, an open kitchen-living area with a lounge above it in the converted attic. With a tiled stove, cottage magic especially for hikers who like it rustic. Arrival by car is recommended. The space In particular, tiled stoves heat the house. There are additional electric stoves in each of the 2 bedrooms and currently only one bathroom with bathtub and shower and a bedroom with its own sink. Sharing is therefore the order of the day. We advise against families with very young children. As beautiful and cozy as the house is, there are simply increased risks of accidents due to the open stairs and levels as well as the open fire, even at your own liability. Guest access There is a nice interior downstairs that we have designed as an additional large lounge area. Also great for indoor play! Unfortunately, there is no outdoor area because the house is on the street, but you can open the windows wide as a patio door and sit inside. Other things to note The Kaiserstuhl is the Tuscany of Germany. What more can I say? France is a stone's throw away, for example, with Colmar. Hiking. Tasting wine. Good food, for example, in Oberbergen at Fritz Keller or Oberrotweil im Bären. Bickensohl is very small and has no shop etc. Everything you need is 2 km away in Oberrotweil. Post office, Edeka, etc.
