Family and Friends Farm House

This is the mac'n'cheese comfort food of home stays. Great place for families and friends to stay together. Lego Land is only 11 miles away! This central Hudson Valley location is minutes away from both Hudson and Delaware Rivers, hiking trails, tubing, hot air ballooning and many exciting events. Enjoy a view of our organic vegetable farm and visit our farm stand in season. There is no livestock at the farm but plenty of wildlife around including deer, foxes, opossums and many birds. The space This comfortable house is surprisingly roomy on the inside. Plenty of space to move around and store your stuff. A linen closet holds extra towels and a large hallway closet upstairs to keep extra things out of the way. The house is situated on an open lawn with woods to one side and behind. The other side begins the farm. Parking on the driveway which is circular around the house for easy access to the road. Guest access The best way to get around the neighborhood is by car or motorcycle. There is parking in our driveway by the house. Middletown has ample free parking at stores , restaurants and shopping malls, even downtown. There is a nearby free parking area for an express bus that can take you to Manhattan in 90 minutes. Other things to note The area is largely residential with a few small businesses and farms around. It is a place teeming with wildlife and if you leave the door open too long, something will fly in. So if they sight of a bug totally freaks you out, this is not a sterile space. The house is set back from the road which connects 2 parts of Middletown so there is traffic on it during the day (city folk will laugh at our idea of traffic) but its generally very quiet at night.
