Escale-en-Oisans is the restoration of a family home with respect for traditions. This place is close to the Deux Alpes and Alpe d'Huez resorts. You will enjoy this home for the view, the calm, the people... My place is good for couples, solo travelers, and families (with kids). The house is located at the bottom of the village of BESSE and is off the main street, it will be necessary to walk 200 meters to access it. The space You will have two private guest rooms. You will have to cross the living room to access the bedrooms. The bedrooms and the living room are upstairs. The Léo room includes a large 160 x 200 bed with ensuite bathroom and toilet. The Charennes room is equipped with two 90*200 beds that can be combined by a fastening system transforming the bed into a single 180*200 bed with private bathroom and toilet as well. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV on the wall. You will not have the kitchen to make food, but you can eat in the kitchen with access to the microwave or a kettle. I agree to lend you a space in the fridge as well as in one of the freezers. You will have two types of catering in the village on the main street of BESSE (the Bar-Restaurant des Touristes and the Gîte du Sarret). Home catering is still possible at certain times of the year. We also have all the equipment for Baby (highchair, bathtub, toilet reducer, etc.) that we provide free of charge. In the summer you will have a picnic table and an outdoor barbecue free of charge. The washing machine and dryer can be made available for a fee. Guest access You will have two private bedrooms each with a door (keys) and the living room corresponding to the entire floor of the house. During your stay We live in this home, which is extremely well designed for hosting guests. We will not bother you and will be present discreetly to provide any assistance you may need during your stay, which we will strive to make as pleasant as possible, as we know that for most of our guests, this is their annual or occasional leave, which is eagerly awaited. Other things to note We already have pets at home (a bichon dog and two small cats) trained not to go into the bedrooms, which is why we do not accept other animals. However, we once agreed to do a favor by trusting people who could not be separated from their pet, and it went well. We listen and always try to find solutions to make our guests feel good at home.
