The space New Farm Shepherds Huts and Camping is a Peace and Quiet, small family camping site nestling in the rural Herefordshire village of Dilwyn a few miles from the Welsh border. We have two Shepherds Huts that can accommodate up to four people available at £75.00 a night for the use of both huts and we have a number of camping pitches for tents or small camper vans, these prices start at £20.00 a night. The large hut has a double bed which folds up into a seat, table and chairs, log burner, tea and coffee facilities and electrical lights and power sockets. The smaller hut is designed for children and has two fold away bunk beds, electric lights and sockets and storage facilities as well as a hamper of books and hidden animals to find.... We have recently installed a composting Eco loo hand made from Welsh cedar from a small independent company in Machynlleth and a shower room with wash hand basin and shower. Children will love to see our collection of animals, including giant rabbits, chickens, cats, ponies, friendly sheep and pygmy goats that will roam happily just over the fence. Dilwyn has a thriving local pub that offers very reasonably priced food most days and sits in the middle of the historic black and white trail and the cider trail. We have a number of local National Trust properties to visit and are very close to the Welsh border with easy access to the Hay Literary Festival, Leominster and Hereford. Just a few miles further are Ludlow, Abergavenny, Monmouth, Brecon and Ledbury. Tent camping pitches are available at £30 a night. Guest access Our guests will have full access to both huts, use of our Eco loo and shower facilities. Free parking is provided and the site is flat.For those wishing to attend the Hay Festival, we may be able to provide transportation allowing you the ability to relax without driving. Other things to note As we live in the centre of a small and picturesque village, please keep noise to minimum so that we can.live and operate in harmony with our neighbours...... Two Shepherd Huts can sleep four people; ideal for families. Hut one has a double bed and log burner. Hut two has two bunk beds suitable for up to age 16 yrs. We can also offer camping for a few tents and have an Eco loo and wash/shower room facilities. We are 12 miles from Hay on Wye and well placed for the Hay festival as well as Hereford and Leominster. We are a small holding and have pygmy goats, kids, lambs, giant rabbits and free ranging chickens and cats! Children can help feed too.
