Mill 12th – 19th century The charming guest room/suite, with its independent entrance, overlooks the front garden. It has been fitted, furnished and decorated with elements found in the barn of the last miller in a chic country style. To start the day off right, Katia and Fred will prepare a gourmet breakfast for you, consisting of homemade morning pastries, homemade jams and yogurts, hot drinks, fresh fruit salad, cheese, fruit juice, eggs from the henhouse... The space Charming guest house 20 km from Château de Chambord for a getaway along the Loire Valley and its castles. After your visits or walks, continue your getaway to the Moulin de Foussard, an authentic watermill built between the 11th and 19th centuries. The property consists of a large farmhouse and a building, originally intended for all the machinery of the mill (gears, wheel, etc.), with a very large garden surrounded by the stream that fed the mill. The guest room, on the Loire à Vélo cycle route, offers a space to store bicycles safely overnight. Katia and Fred welcome you throughout the year by opening their guest room located in the mill's former stable. This unique room will ensure you all the privacy and quiet you desire. Calm, authenticity, old stones, nature, lapping water will enhance the moments spent outside, in the garden furniture provided.
