The space Our spacious bungalow awaits your visit to wonderful Edinburgh. We are very convenient for town - just a short hop on the regular bus service, or 10 minutes by taxi or car. Private bedroom and shower room You will have your own double room with TV, and sole use of toilet & shower room, adjacent to the bedroom. Our house is ideally suited to dog lovers, especially if you have had to leave your loved pets at home - Daisy will always give you a warm welcome! (Update - we are all devastated after losing our beloved Boxer dog, Daisy. She always loved greeting our guests, and our guests loved her. We miss her. We hope to welcome another dog to our family soon. in the meantime we often foster dogs so you may still find you get a nice doggy welcome). There is safe, off-street parking on our property which you can use if travelling by car. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Guest access In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, guests have free access and use of the garden. We also have off-street parking for you to use. During your stay We would be delighted to provide recommendations on where to go and what to see during your visit, including historic Leith and our beautiful cosmopolitan city. We would be happy to offer recommendations for eating, drinking and sightseeing. We appreciate that some guests just want to relax after a hard day sightseeing, travelling, studying or working, so it's always your choice how much you want to interact with us. Other things to note *** continental breakfast or optional cooked Scottish breakfast included - just let us know the night before if you would like a cooked breakfast *** Many of our guests visit during the Edinburgh Festivals (August) or Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations at new year. Also great for the Royal Highland Show and rugby internationals at Murrayfield. The Edinburgh Botanic gardens are a leisurely 15 minute walk from our house. We have a created a detailed walk description that will take you from our house into town with a leisurely stroll past the Royal Botanical Gardens and fashionable Stockbridge, then up through the Georgian New Town. Granton Harbour is only a short walk away if you'd like some sea air while you are here, or the pretty Newhaven Harbour, with bars and restaurants, is a pleasant 20-25 minute walk. There is a huge variety of pubs and restaurants in Edinburgh centre, and a small selection of good pubs serving food within a short distance from our house. Registration Details EH-72996-F
