Samaki Beach Lodge is a self-catering beach front home with a magnificent view of the ocean. The home is simply furnished and sleeps 16 (12 adults sharing comfortably and 4 children/teenagers). The house is a perfect base. You never need to get into your car! Main beach is just across the road. The house is walking distance to the best surfing spots and the shops. The space If you don't feel like going down to the beach, you can relax on the deck on the sun loungers , cool off in the plunge pool or play a game of chess on the life sized chess board in the garden. On cold or rainy days, you can sit in front of the cosy wood burning fireplace or play a game of pool. There are beach umbrellas, a few beach chairs, boogy boards and a double canoe for you to use. Guest access The main house sleeps 8. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed . The room is reached by going down a small flight of stairs. It is a little way from the other rooms, so ideal if one wants some peace and quiet. It has a lovely seaview, but also overlooks the carpark. The second bedroom in the main house is ensuite with a kingsize bed or two singles . There is also an ensuite family suite comprised of two rooms and one bathroom which the rooms share. The bedroom downstairs has a kingsize bed and there is a small loft room upstairs which sleeps 2 in single beds. The family suite has a small TV lounge. Outside accommodation: Attached to the main house is an ensuite bedroom with a kingsize bed. It has its own entrance. No sea view. Beds can be single or kingsize. There is also a small double-storey cottage with a ground-floor ensuite double bedroom(has a sea view from the mini lounge ) with either a kingsize or two single beds and there is an ensuite family suite upstairs comprising two rooms both with 2 single beds. NOTE! In the family suite upstairs in the cottage, the guests in the one bedroom have to walk through the other bedroom to access the bathroom, so it ideally suited to families or children/teenagers. PLEASE NOTE: Rates charged are for per person sharing. If you have for example booked for 8 people then you will have access to the main house only. If guests would like their own rooms, please advise host and a single surcharge will be added. Other things to note SELF CATERING. The house is self-catering. A few basic essentials will be provided for you to help you settle in. Kindly replenish any essentials thereafter as you need them.
