The Villa de l'Olivier

Welcome to the Villa de l'Olivier, a beautiful contemporary villa that opens its doors facing the Lyon mountains. This modern house, located in a residential and peaceful area of Lissieu, is close to the center of Dardilly and offers easy access to local shops. The house is only twenty minutes by car from Lyon by its main roads and less than 10 km from Beaujolais and its magnificent golden stone villages. The space You will be charmed by this beautiful house and its carefully designed living spaces. This warm house can accommodate up to 6 people (possibility of up to 8 beds) making it a perfect place to spend your stays with family, friends or for your business trips. Upon arrival, you will be dazzled by the large bright and spacious living room that offers a magnificent view of the green nature. The kitchen, open to the living room, is fully equipped, perfect for lovers of culinary art and ideal for meeting up with several people. Upstairs, you will have access to two bedrooms: one consisting of a double bed and the second with two double beds, all accompanied by a bathroom with bathtub. Toilets are also located on the ground floor and upstairs. Access to the garden through its bay windows is a major asset of the house. The furnished terrace, the spacious (but unheated) swimming pool and the view of the Lyon mountains make this house the ideal place to enjoy a moment of conviviality with several people. Note that the pool is secured with a roller shutter but that swimming is at your own risk. The pool is available for rent from May to October and is in winter storage the rest of the year, so the pool is not included in the rental from November to March. The house has a private entrance with parking that can accommodate up to 4 vehicles. The villa of the Olivier is above all a rental house for travelers who wish to meet with family or several people for a stay and not a hotel. The services provided correspond to those of a rental home and not a hotel service. The house is located in a residential area. As a result, parties or any other type of event are not allowed, as well as pets. Note that the owners and their children live in the house throughout the year. That's why we rely on your civility to return the house in good condition and to respect the premises. A 10% discount can be made for requests for stays of one week during the summer period (July – August). Beds will be made upon arrival and bath towels are provided but not beach towels that you will need to remember to bring. A deposit will be required (in the amount of 1000 euro) upon arrival (either by bank transfer to the owner's account or in cash), which will be returned to you once the inventory has been carried out without damage. The house can be booked for a minimum of 2 nights. IMPORTANT: We live in a residential area with houses nearby. All noise after 10 p.m. is prohibited. The house is not suitable for parties and large gatherings. The rental is for 6 people max, so please, no additional guests. In addition, note that a cat is present within the Villa de l'Olivier. It is very independent and occasionally enters the house to eat and drink but ask for a few caresses for cat lovers. NOTE following (rare) remarks: this is a house in which we live outside of rentals, and which we take particular care of. But it is not a "hotel", so for people demanding "the excellence" of a star hotel, please prefer the hotel instead ;) We look forward to welcoming you to Villa de l'Oliver. Other things to note The pool is in winter storage, so it is not accessible and therefore not visible (with curtain) from October to April. The pool is also not heated. The private concierge of the Maison de l'Olivier will be on site to welcome you and make you feel at home during your stay.
