Omah Sabrang is a unique wooden house project. Set in nature, right next to a river stream, it is a perfect place for adventurous travelers with lust for a new experience. Omah Sabrang will be your private wooden home, perfect get-a-way from the hustle and the bustle of the city. Our warm Wooden house is located in safe and quiet residental neigborhood of Kasongan village, just 15 min far from the central city of Yogyakarta (Malioboro and Sultan Palace) and art space. The space Omah Sabrang is a small recycle wooden house, made with love and attention to every detail. All the house are made up from repurposed wood, aestethically built on theirs traditional form but equiped with modern utilities and aesthetically well decorated. The architecture is charming fusion of Javanese And tropical design, Which make effective use of natural texture And local materials, while also incorporating the esensial elements of Javanese symbolism. Our home is built in an eco-conscious way and we are most happy with travelers who treat nature the same way. Guest access Bedroom The house has one floor with a comfortable queen-size bed. A cozy space to rest and relax. Kitchen The kitchen is simple and functional. You’ll find fresh drinking water, coffee, tea, a kettle, glasses, mugs, cutlery, plates, and bowls. A small fridge is also available. Bathroom The bathroom is fully indoors, equipped with a hot shower and seated toilet. It’s clean, private, and easy to use. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is available and generally fast, although during bad weather the connection might not be stable. Smoking Area You can smoke in the outdoor areas or in the common/dining space. Please be careful with cigarette ashes and avoid burning the furniture :) Bicycle We have one bicycle available for free use. If you need more, we can help arrange rental from local villagers. Motorbike. Scooter rental is available for IDR 70K per day, Other Services We can help with airport transfers (extra charge), local tours, car hire, scooter and bike rental, and more. Just let us know! Other things to note Omah Sabrang isn’t a fancy hotel — it’s a simple and authentic place in a Jogja village. Perfect for real travelers and nature lovers. The house is near a river, so you’ll be close to nature. You might see frogs, geckos, or a big lizard. Please be kind to them. We try to keep the house clean, but since we’re in nature, there may still be spiders, bugs, or mosquitoes. It’s part of the experience. :)
