Idyllic cottage in the New Forest

A warm welcome to our riverside cottage, a two bedroom quiet retreat located in the New Forest national park with lovely walks and cycle paths to see the ponies and other wildlife. It’s only a 20 min drive to the medieval city of Salisbury and 30-40 min drive to the sandy beaches of the South Coast. We have a friendly local village shop and pub within walking distance, and a fabulous ‘water-hole’ for swimming a few mins walk down the lane. The space The area is lovely and quiet, set back amongst a quadrangle of barns across the little lane from our house. There’s a meadow beside the cottage with an open pond further down and there are frequent visits by deer, owls, foxes and hares. It’s a great place to come and recharge! Guest access Parking is available within the gate in the quadrangle of barns. The second parking space is for the cottage. Other things to note Please note that there is an absolute maximum of 4 people staying in the cottage! (The only extra exception being an infant.)
