Villa D'Carik 2: villa in the rice fields of Sayan

Villa D'Carik 2, is a 2 bedroom villa set within the rice fields of Sayan. The villa is located 100 meters from our sister villa, Villa D'Carik 1 and adjacent the D'Carik massage area. The villa is around 5 km's from central Ubud, depending on which direction you travel from. Access into central Ubud, from the villa, is around 45 to 60 minutes on foot, 15 minute by scooter or 20 minutes by car. A driver is on call when needed. We can assist with hiring scooters if desired. The space Access to the villa involves a 300 metre walk from the drop off point, along a concrete path, through surrounding rice paddies. Staff and drivers will assist with the transfer of luggage/shopping during your stay at the villa. Each of the 2 bedrooms have a super king size bed, with an additional king single day bed. A 32-inch LED TV (with USB), Chromecast and a DVD player for entertainment and to ensure a good night's sleep, each room is equipped with an air-conditioner and ceiling fan. For valuables, each room has a safety box. Each of the bathrooms are open air, with a rain shower. One of the bathrooms contains a bath. The living area is open, with views of rice fields to the south and to the west. The 12 metre long living space, includes the lounge and dining area. The villa has its own kitchen, where our chefs Made & JeJe, will prepare your daily breakfast, at no extra cost. Sun lounges are next to the 2 x 7 meter swimming pool, as well as your own private walled garden. Located 100 metres from our sister property Villa D'Carik 1, it offers guests the flexibility of independent accommodation for a maximum of 6 guests or with both villas booked together, a maximum of 16 guests. The villa will be serviced from Villa D'Carik, where daily staff are available, as well as security at night. For bookings of 3 nights, we will include at no cost, one way transfer from the airport or Kuta area (one car). For bookings of 7 nights or more both pick-up and return transfers will be included from the airport or Kuta area (one car). The villa includes Wi-Fi at 30mbps. We have just recently opened our massage area, which is for the exclusive use of Villa D'Carik guests. The villa is situated in rice fields. The rice fields are worked on by local owners/farmers. This is a natural environment. In the rice fields we have frogs, geckos, lizards and snakes, as well as other insects that are natural to the area. You may see some of these animals whilst staying at the villa. Please do not be alarmed, none of these animals are harmful to you, your friends and family. Some animals are noisy, like the geckos, but that is all they do, make noise. We try to control cats & dogs. But we leave other animals and insects to fend for themselves. We are blessed with this type of nature. If you are very sensitive to the concept of animals that are unfamiliar to you, it may be wise to consider alternative accommodation. For many of our guests that is what they are seeking, nature in an authentic rural environment. It is the animal's home as well as ours! Enjoy the best of Bali in an authentic rural setting.
