Located in a small village in the Pays Cathare region of the Aude department, close to Cathar castles and swimming spots in the gorges, the Cabartière gîte offers peace and quiet. Ideal for a couple or couple with children. Single-storey gîte (50 m²) for 2 or 3 people, featuring a corner hot tub for invigorating water-jet massages and relaxing air-jet massages. Option to combine the two actions simultaneously or alternately for a full-body massage. The cottage is located on the ground floor of a village house. It is very well insulated and therefore very easy to heat, even in the middle of winter, and you will sleep well there even in the middle of summer. The gite de la Cabartière is located in the small village of Mouthoumet, on the GR36. The view from the windows looks out over the village. The street is quiet and not very busy. You can stop in front of the cottage while unloading your luggage and then park at the communal car park located a 1-minute walk away. Access is from the front of the house. You have access to a typical Saint-Tropez courtyard located on the other side of the street. No one can see you in this courtyard. You will be able to relax in the armchairs and enjoy the barbecue. The cottage is located on the ground floor of a village house. There will be no noise disturbance as the floors are very well insulated. A jacuzzi-style whirlpool bath is available for your use. Internet access is free. A DVD library is also available, so you can watch films from your bed. Please note that the mobile phone is difficult to pass through the cottage and you will need to prioritize calls via WiFi (Watsapp, Messenger). To get mobile network coverage, you will need to go up to the village, a 1-minute walk away, near the car park. Our concern is your complete satisfaction, if you prefer a secluded cottage in the middle of nature, outside the village, we advise you to prioritize the gite de l 'Erable in Laroque de Fa. Practical information: Cleaning is your responsibility: we do not charge a cleaning fee, so the cottage must be left clean and tidy upon your departure (garbage cans emptied, dishwasher emptied...) A 60€ deposit check will be requested for cleaning. To this day, we have never kept a security deposit. Please bring your own sheets (140 cm and 90 cm) and towels. It is located on the ground floor of a house on a small street in the village. On the 1st floor, there is another cottage whose access is separate from yours (access to the other cottage is from the back of the house, you from the front). There is a step to access the bathroom. Please bring your own linens and towels. In case of need, it is possible to rent them. The view from the windows is over the village. The street is very quiet. We are flexible for your arrival time, but in case of rental just before you, it is possible that the cottage is only ready at 3pm or 4pm maximum. But, in general, it's possible to check in earlier.
