Romantic and ethnic loft near Taormina

It's an original and indipendent home, located at the top of the little, nice village Motta Camastra (450 metres). You may try a true and quiet experience of sicilian life and good food. In the surroundings there are the wonderful "Gole" of Alcantara River, the Etna volcano, the nice cities of Taormina and Isola Bella, Giardini Naxos; San Marco and Fiumefreddo beaches you may reach in 20 minutes by car. The airport of Catania it's far 75 km, Messina 72 km. Better to rent a car. The space In this romantic and ethnic home you may find original sicilian and indian furnitures. You will find creative and original objets, most of all handmade by the owners or bought in India or Latin America. We give you sheets and towels. There is a kitchen, fridge and hot water. It's a real home but seems like a cave so it's very cool in july and august. If you come in autumn, winter or spring may be cold and , but in case we give you some radiators. The nearest attraction are the Gole of river Alcantara: you may visit it by public entrance paying just 1.50 euros and you may do body rafting if you want. All around beautiful valley, countryside and the Peloritani mountains. The village Motta Camastra got a medieval feel, it's romantic and old, located in between the rocks emerged out of the mountain. This gives you a perfect location because it's close to the beach, you can go to the river (with the Gole dell'Alcantara), go hiking to get an amazing view on mount Etna and you are quite close to Taormina and Castelmola and the beautiful beaches of San Marco and Fiumefreddo di Sicilia. In the village you may find good typical food and wine. There are a few old men with their donkeys, and the women often cook their specialities in the streets. It's truly Sicilian, traditional, beautiful and the people are super friendly. Guest access Indipendent entry, private apartment. Other things to note You need a car to travel.
