THE NEIGHBORHOOD Islands Brygge is just besides the center of Copenhagen. It has many restaurants and cafes of its own but for more choices the city center is 10 minutes walk away. LOCALITY AND ATTRACTIONS The Tivoli, TownHall Square, Nyhavn, Royal Palace, Amager beach, Strøget pedestrian shopping street and Fisketorvet shopping mall are all close by. HOW TO GET THERE FROM AIRPORT It is easiest to go by taxi although the metro and a bus will take you there in 25 minutes. The taxi will cost about 25 euros and take 15 to 20 minutes. HOW TO GET THERE FROM THE CITY It is about 10 minutes walk from city center and a taxi ride will only take couple of minutes. Other things to note It is possible to rent bikes at Schrøder Cykler down at the corner at the right seen from the balcony. It is also possible to rent boats, in front of the apartment. There are two supermarkets nearby: Coop365 - discount (200m.) open all days 8 - 22 at the left seen from the balcony and Superbrugsen (300 m.) open all days 9 – 20 at the left seen from the balcony and around the second corner.
