It is now a cosy two bedroom cottage perfectly situated less than a minutes walk down a winding path to Forelands Beach, a stunning sandy beach with rock pools to explore. The cottage is within close proximity to the local independent shops, pubs and eateries. The cottage is less than a minutes walk to Forelands Beach, a real hidden gem at the most easterly point on the Isle of Wight and a great spot for paddling, rock-pooling and fossil hunting. Only a 3 minute drive away to the centre of Bembridge Village (Village of the Year, BBC Countryfile Awards 2019), an unspoilt sailing village that benefits from many independent shops, pubs and eateries to enjoy during your stay. The cottage sits on a quiet lane and benefits from off road parking. Outside the property there is a private courtyard garden, the perfect space to relax after a day at the beach. It comes complete with a table and chairs, and buckets and spades for use throughout your stay. Once inside, the cottage is newly furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout. Downstairs is an open plan lounge with a modern well equipped kitchen / diner, including a dishwasher, washing machine and under floor heating. Upstairs there is a stylishly presented master bedroom with a king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and playfully decorated with a nautical theme. Both bedrooms benefit from dual aspect windows. A travel cot is available for guests to use at the property. The shower room comprises of a WC, walk-in rain shower and under floor heating. Fluffy towels are provided for your stay. Guest access The local co-op (Welcome Bembridge) is approximately 8 minutes walk and 2 minute drive from the Cottage and is open from 7am-10pm every day. Bembridge Village High Street is approximately 15 minutes walk and 2 minutes drive. There is free parking available for one hour stays. The closest beach to the Cottage is less than a minutes walk and accessed via foot path located just behind the Crab and Lobster Inn. Sandown beach, a traditional bucket and spade beach with miles of golden sand is a 10 minute drive away. Other things to note This property does not have a stair gate and is pet free.
