Casa Albini B&B - Guesthouse

The Foresteria di Casa Albini is spread over two levels, and has two entrances, one on the chapel side and one from the lawn; on the ground floor there is a large living room with kitchen furniture, and a sofa bed; on the first floor the bedroom and the bathroom; the two rooms are connected by an internal staircase. The space Casa Albini was founded in the 18th century. After a period of relative abandonment, we have lived there permanently for about 20 years, and with the help of our architect friend, we have restored it, respecting its specific essence in detail. The wing dedicated to hospitality is nineteenth-century: 2 regular rooms, a suite, and a guesthouse on two levels. Each with a private bathroom, with active wifi. There is also a family chapel dedicated to the Madonna dell'Acqua Santa, erected on the occasion of the return, safe and sound from Napoleon's Russian Campaign, of my great-great-grandfather Andrea Albini. The driveway to our home is dominated by a centuries-old pine tree, which is also the symbol of our home. Then there are cypresses, laurels, and many and various fruit trees. A wall and 3 steps separate the lawn from the citrus garden where we have also planted our vegetable garden. Further down are the olive trees. Descending from the path next to the small, torrential stream, you arrive in the countryside of the valley, in the woods, down to the small Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Acqua Santa, in the nearby municipality of Laureana. Of course, activities such as idleness, conversation, listening to music, and observing nature are equally viable activities. Guest access Guests will have free access to the lawn and the tree-lined avenue of the property, with the possibility of lying down to sunbathe or being able to sit in the shade of the many trees present.
