On the edge of the Pennine Moors with country walks from the doorstep this modern annex is in a peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac in Trawden. The village has a great pub, cafe and community shop with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill, Hebden Bridge and the Yorkshire Dales are under half an hour drive away. Off road parking, peaceful garden with superb views. A welcome pack of milk, bread, butter & jams, cereals, tea, coffee provided. The space Our compact annexe is over two levels and access is via a private door at the rear of the property accessed by walking down the side of the garage which is fairly narrow. Downstairs, your own private entrance opens into a bright and airy room consisting of a table and chairs, kitchen units with built-in fridge with freezer compartment, sink, utensils and crockery. Microwave, toaster, kettle, Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine with 2 complimentary pods, slow cooker and panini maker, but please note, there is no oven or hob. New to the space: a comfy oversized sofa chair! At 82 cm wide, it's wonderfully roomy for one person and can squeeze in two if you don't mind getting cosy! Upstairs there is a double bedroom with TV, a cocktail chair and an en-suite comprising shower, vanity sink unit and toilet. Please note the upstairs has sloping ceilings as can be seen on the photos. Outside you are welcome to use the garden which is shared with us but please do not go through the other gate where the slope is steep and slippery. We try to leave our guests alone to enjoy the garden whenever possible. Guest access Guests will be self-contained within the annex and will not share any facilities other than the garden. Access to the entrance is down a narrow walkway around the side of the property Bikes can be stored in the garage on request. Garden is shared with hosts although we try to leave our guests to enjoy the garden in peace whenever possible. Other things to note Milk, bread, cereals, etc. will be available in Hill View on arrival which should be enough for your 1st breakfast or 2 should you wish.. We also leave a couple of pods for tge Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine. There is a fantastic community shop selling a wide range of food and other goods at the end of the road. Due to lack of specific amenities (stair gates, high chairs etc) Hill View is not suitable for babies & infants. Well behaved dogs welcome but are not allowed on the furniture. Please note the access to the property is down the side of the house to the back garden which is a narrow passageway. Also the upstairs rooms have a sloping ceiling (1 side of the bedroom & 1 side of the bathroom). An EV charger is available by prior arrangement with hosts and is payable direct at the time of use. The accommodation has its own private entrance so guests can be as independent as they wish with self check-in available via a lockbox. Parking is on the driveway in front of the garage.
