Lilly Tub Villa: tranquil, calm, restful
Description
Lilly Tub Villa A two-storied house, newly renovated, keeping with the natural elements as much as possible. Accessorised with some inherited pieces of furniture. An open, airy, tranquil space just 3km away from the bustling, historic capital of Kandy. An old bath tub, turned into a Lily pond is how the place earned its name. It's a great place for those who love to relax, chill-out, or even catch-up on work. The space High ceilings, the many windows and light-coloured floors, let in ample natural light. And the carefully placed windows make you feel connected to the outside which is great as there is quite a bit of bird life and some varieties of butterflies and bees as well as visiting monkeys and other harmless little critters. There is plenty of outdoor space. You can find herbs, vegetables, fruits and many flowering plants and trees. A balcony provides a good evening spot to chill out and enjoy the sunset and night sky (best time to view night sky in Kandy is early December to early April) The property is also accessible from two sides - which is a real advantage during rugby season to avoid traffic. Guest access Guests have access to the living/dining room, kitchen/pantry, verandah, lobby, outside garden areas. Other things to note breakfast will be very basic (if needed) as my culinary skills have not yet been mastered.
