Yim Med is a place to learn and experience Meditation, for beginners and experts to enjoy Vipassana, discover herbs’ hidden benefits, absorb nature’s knowledge and the traditional local ways of living. Designed according to the Earth’s magnetic and natural air flow, made with reused materials and second hand stuff from 5 star hotels, the house Palace of the Mind inspires new ideas and creative ways of being. Enjoy the jungle’s fresh wind, laugh with the monkeys and sing with the birds! The space Yim Med is a place to take your time, to let go of ownership illusions, to relax and meet with good hearted people. The house has 4 floors: the front balcony, the bedroom, a working space with a bathroom and a hammock, and a mezzanine. You can use the shared outdoor kitchen to cook and enjoy breakfast in our garden. Surrounded by trees and monkeys this house is a perfect place to meditate and enjoy nature. Better let you know that our beds were chosen according to what is best for most bodies, they are not soft and fluffy! Sam designed the houses according to the Earth’s magnetic and natural air flow, so no need for air con! This way the temperature stays between 25°C and 32°C, enjoy the jungle’s fresh wind, laugh with the monkeys and sing with the birds! Each one is unique, in Japanese, Thai, Western and Bhutan styles. They were all made with reused, local materials and second hand stuff from 5 star hotels. Yim Med is a place to heal, acquire local knowledge, have long, delicious breakfasts in its magic garden and possibly redesign your life. Groups of people and projects are welcome to flow with our space, we are delighted to embrace initiatives and collaborate with new ideas. Guest access the garden is shared Other things to note during the rainy season, you will hear the rain!!! we used metal sheets on the roof, so the rhythm of the rain may sound like a big orchestra to you. ;-)
