Anvil Cottage is a beautiful 5 Star Gold rated holiday cottage set in the grounds of The Close, an 18th century house facing the duck pond, on the village green, in Biddestone. It is ideally placed to visit the World Heritage City of Bath, and to explore the historic villages and countryside of Wiltshire & the Cotswolds. Originally a working forge, Anvil Cottage has recently undergone sympathetic restoration to create a high class holiday home, whilst retaining many original features. The space The property provides flexible accommodation, including 2 double bedrooms, with the option to convert one bedroom to 2 single beds. The property is tastefully furnished, with all necessary facilities and amenities. Occupants have their own gravelled seating area to the rear of the property - perfect for a morning coffee or early evening drink! A BBQ is also provided. Biddestone is easily accessible by road, being only 10 minutes from Junction 17 0f the M4, and by train, with Chippenham Station 4 miles away. The property is available for weekly rental from Friday to Friday, with long weekend and mid-week breaks by special request. Guest access The property is situated in the grounds of The Close. Guests are welcome to wander through the orchard & paddock. Other things to note Parking is provided for a guest car on the drive of The Close.
