Private parking just off the road, then take the private track up and through the native bush to the cottage on the top of the world. The beautiful path up through native bush has 172 steps to the house, take the adventure through ancient Pohutukawa trees and past maturing Kauri and Totara trees, from the two private car parks at the road to the story book cottage on the hill. Ensures total privacy and no neighbours. It is absolutely safe to drink the water from the kitchen sink tap, as we have top quality whole of house water filters. All bed linen and towels are provided. WIFI is strong and reliable. All photos are views from the actual property. Guest access Guests can access the whole 2 bedroom house, and have the whole house and property to yourselves, with no one else around. Although there are no neighbours within sight at the top, there are boundaries into private land, close to the edges of the lawn. So please respect the neighbouring private land. Other things to note As there is a track up to the house with 172 steps, a reasonable level of physical fitness is required. Children may require supervision and assistance. Bring a good torch as track is dark at night. It would be appreciated if water usage was kept to a minimum as we are reliant on rain fall. Please arrive between the check in time of 2pm - 7pm at the latest.
