Our house is close to Verteuil sur Charente. If you are looking for calm and full nature to recharge your batteries, our house is ideal for that. In the middle of meadows and woods, with every comfort, it will welcome you whether you are a couple, solo traveler, business traveler or family with children. The space Our house has been completely renovated and clad, very economical, it is pleasant to live in. It feels "inside/outside". It has several bedrooms that can accommodate children or other guests. We can also accommodate horses in a fenced park. Guest access Guests have a private room equipped with bathroom, with independent access. Due to the health crisis, common areas are limited. Outside, there is a private terrace and a summer kitchen equipped with a gas barbecue at your disposal. Access to the park and surrounding woods is free, marked hiking trails are also accessible. During your stay I will of course be available for any advice on walks, local visits, walking routes, maps, good addresses, etc. Other things to note Our house is close to the Way of St. James, the village of Verteuil sur Charente where the castle is remarkable, Nanteuil en Vallée where there is a beautiful arboretum and an abbey open to visitors. A little further away, La Rochefoucauld and a castle to visit too. On site you can take the hiking trails on foot or by bike (small or large loop), observe the wildlife (deer, fox, wild boar), find mushrooms (in season), simply listen to the living nature. We can also accommodate your horses on site, in fenced parks.
