Located on one of the prettiest and historic lanes in St Ives The Little Snug is a cosy cottage and certainly has history date-stamped all over it. Dating back to the 1800s it is popular with guests visiting the town anytime of the year with everything just moments away from door step. The perfect base for exploring St Ives and beyond with all the amenities of the town and coastline at your fingertips. The space After a stylish and sympathetic renovation by the owners of The Little Snug. The cottage retains much of its character with exposed granite walls, original floor boards and feature beams but with a retro twist. Through the front stable door of The Little Snug you enter the living area furnished with two sofas, smart TV, bluetooth speaker, SMEG gas fire and folding dining table and chairs. A few steps up into the kitchen with solid wood work surfaces and baby blue appliances. An electric oven with gas burner hob, SMEG fridge/freezer, DAB radio, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. A small utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed, TV, vanity unit and a window seat with harbour view glimpses. Up a few more steps you will find the bunk room with two single beds looking out into the rear garden. A wet room with shower, wash basin and WC completes the top floor. The outside space of The Little Snug comprises of the front courtyard with bench and table and the rear garden with a terraced balcony. The rear garden is accessed through the kitchen which has outdoor seating and stunning harbour views. Please note children will need to be supervised on the steps to the seating area and those with mobility issues aren't advised to navigate the steep steps. The Little Snug is the perfect bolt hole for a couple or a family of four. Set within The Warren which is a quaint little street just off St Ives town. The perfect base for exploring St Ives and beyond with all the amenities of the town and coastline at your fingertips. The Little Snug is also set above an all year round dog friendly beach perfect for your holidaying pooch! Other things to note What we provide: Bed linen for all beds. Bath towels & hand towels for 4 guests. Tea towels, oven cloth and a bath mat. A double length toilet roll. Hand soap, washing up liquid, anti bacterial spray, bleach. (Please note we do not provide shampoo, conditioner or shower gel due to personal preference and/or allergies) Dish cloth, sponge, dishwasher tablets. (Please note we do not provide washing detergent/pods due to personal preference and/or allergies) Oil, salt, pepper, pint of milk, tea bags, coffee sticks and sugar sticks. Access to The Warren is extremely narrow and unloading outside the front door is not possible. We recommend unloading from the Station car park by the steps leading down to the Pedn Olva (images/directions in check-in details). Please note: The cottage does not have a parking space and there is no free on street parking. We do however have a few off site parking spaces (20 minute walk away) which we can book out alongside a reservation at The Little Snug for an additional fee. They also offer a bus service to and from Porthmeor beach & Royal Square. It’s also worth having a look on the JustPark app/website as many local residents rent their driveways, garages etc on here and you may find closer reserved parking.
