Spacious, comfortable family room -on ground floor

Set in beautiful surroundings with views of the local mountains, calm and tranquil. La Source is a Chambre d'Hote with 5 bedrooms sleeping 12 (each room can be reserved seperately or as a group) Braekfast is included in the price. The space La Source is situated in 2 hectares of beautiful grounds with mature trees and open spaces. Our family bedroom is situated on the ground floor and has one king size bed and a sturdy metal bunk bed. It has a shower room and a toilet. Plus there is a small sofa and table and 2 chairs. Also there is a DVD player with a good choice of DVDs for you to watch. Our guests have free WiFi. There is a communal cosy lounge with two sofas and a small corner kitchen where you can make snacks, pic-nics etc and a sunny terrasse. We also have a small restaurant with large terrasse to enjoy an evening meal, by reservation or just have a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of homemade cake. We live on site so are always around should you need help or advice on where to visit or just for a chat. We chose to live in this beautiful corner of France in 2004 because of its mediteranean summers and alpine winters and we still love it today. There are so many things to do here either relax and enjoy the French ambiance of take part in the many outdoor activities that we are happy to organise for you. Our nearest train station is in Aspres sur Buech just 6km from La Source. Both Serres and Veynes also have stations - 12km away. With an average of 300 days of sunshine a year, La Source is a wonderful and tranquil place to relax and unwind. Alternatively, with mountains, lakes, rivers and trails under a vast and often cloudless sky, the Hautes Alpes offers one of Europe’s undiscovered outdoor playgrounds, activities and adventures abound. Guest access You have a private entrance and are welcome to use the sunny terrace. The gardens cover 2 hectares of grassland and forests where you can walk, play and enjoy a picnic. During your stay We live on site so are always happy to help advise on places to visit and can book any activities that you'd like to take part in.
