Bablou Tower – Unusual

Spend an unusual night in a 400-year-old tower, an old hemp oven converted into a home. From a height of nearly 10 m, the tower overlooks the surrounding nature and the Yèvre valley. The tower is located right next to our home and close to a converted water mill to produce electricity. The space On the ground floor, kitchen equipped with fridge, stove and oven as well as a dining table and a fireplace. On the 1st floor, master bedroom overlooking the beautiful wooden cathedral ceiling and bathroom with shower and toilet. On the 2nd floor, mezzanine with 2 single beds. 5 m x 12 m swimming pool accessible from April to September. Please note that the pool in 2022 will only be accessible until September 5, as it will be serviced from that date. Outside table, chairs and BBQ. Bed linen, extra blankets and towels provided. Please note that towels are reserved for the bathroom and are not to be used for the pool. Upon departure, garbage cans must be emptied, bed linen and towels must be put in the laundry basket. Guest access You can use the pool and clothesline (shared with us). Children's games are private. The garden can be used around the tower. Other things to note Stairs are steep to climb and the mezzanine can be dangerous for young children. A laundromat is available at the Carrefour Market 2 km away. The clothesline can be used on site to dry laundry and towels.
