Small and simple Hideaway near Potsdam / Berlin

Please note that we do not live directly in BERLIN, but in the SURROUNDING AREA – so the journey by PUBLIC TRANSPORT sometimes takes a little longer. The guest room with a French double bed is located in the basement of our house. A private guest bathroom is located one floor higher. The room has dishes, towels, a kettle and a mini fridge. The kitchen, living area and garden are private and not for shared use. We are a pet-free, non-smoking household. The space The guest room is simple, functional and at the same time comfortably furnished. Since it is located in the converted part of the basement on the back side of the house, it is particularly quiet – ideal for sleeping undisturbed. The 1.40 m wide bed offers a person a lot of comfort. The separate access to the basement area provides a good degree of privacy. Our house is located in a rural suburb of Berlin – exactly between Berlin and Potsdam, each about 10 km away. This makes it ideal for excursions in the region: the lake landscape around Potsdam is widely known and popular. Both cultural life in Berlin and Potsdam can be easily reached by car or public transport. There are several bus lines nearby with connections to the Berlin S-Bahn. From Berlin Central Station, the journey by public transport takes about an hour. Especially on weekends, it is worth taking a look at the timetable. Our local house was built in 1934. It is small, functional and at the same time cozy. We have lovingly renovated many areas ourselves – you will not find luxury here, but a modern and cozy atmosphere. Guest access The room in the basement has a separate entrance. Only to the bathroom is one floor higher once through our private hallway. All other rooms are private. With the kettle in the room, you can make yourself a tea or coffee. A small refrigerator is also provided in the room. Dishes are plentiful. During your stay I am a very communicative person and I am happy to give tips and assistance for your stay here. If we're around and have the time, it can be a longer talk. But if you just want privacy and tranquility, that's no problem either.
