An idyllic countryside getaway just 10 minutes from j26 of the M5. ✨Toast provided marshmallows under the stars on your own outdoor fire-pit 🔥 Check out our other getaway retreats ‘Sunset Shepherds hut’, ‘Lakeside Lodge’ and 'Countryside Cabin'. 🐕❌ Please note no dogs allowed The space Inside the pod is a Double bed and bedside tables with charging points. There is a luggage rack, travel kettle with tea and coffee, dvd player, dvd’s, outside decking with bistro set and a fire pit with benches either side. Located right next to the pod is the compost toilet and shower hut with basin. On site flushing loo and hot shower available on site 50 meters away. Guest access The Pod is set within a working equestrian centre so we ask guests to be quiet and respectful around the stable yard area and the 3 other retreats along the river. Please feel free to walk around the 5 acre field the pod is located in. There is a great walk just across the river on a public footpath which follows the river tone for a good 2 miles. If you don't fancy braving the river crossing you can walk into the village and access it that way. Other things to note There is no cutlery in the pod only a fire pit outside to cook on but please bring your own utensils, pots and pans etc. Guests can park right next to the pod in the field. Unfortunately there are no cooking facilities other than the outside fire pit. Our local pub 'The White Horse inn' is only a ten minute walk/2min drive away and does good food until 9pm. Flip flops would be worth packing for getting to and from the toilet and shower hut. Bring warm clothes for the colder times of the year! ***WINTER BOOKINGS*** Please note although the pod has a small heater inside, the toilet and shower shed does not. It will be cold going to and from the pod to the shower and loo so please bring warm clothes and appropriate foot wear. DURING WINTER MONTHS COLD WATER ONLY IS AVAILABLE. However there is a flushing loo and hot shower located on site 50 meters away. A few additional blankets will be worth bringing for those that really feel the cold! We are happy to let the pod out through the winter but please be aware it’s not as warm as a house with central heating and is most ideal in the warmer months to make use of the outside area.
