Our signature dish being Aloo Paratha - the Indian version of pancake made of wheat stuffed with potatoes and a perfect blend of choicest spices cooked to a beautiful golden crisp served hot with home made pickle and fresh home made curd (yoghurt). Other dishes include fried bread rolls, roasted puffed rice, the tri color gram flour sandwich and many more. We'd like to keep some mystery for you to unravel when you join us! Having roots in Delhi for the past more than 120 years, we have loads of stories about the city, its past and present which we love sharing along with our culture and traditions with the guests. Our family stays on the ground floor of the same property and are always available for any queries. We offer a personalized experience and are open to interaction with guests from all over the world - we invite them to share their stories with us over a freshly brewed cup of coffee or a home cooked Indian meal which we are happy to serve them (payable extra) if they so wish. They are at the same address. Guest access Guests have 24x7 access to a kitchen, a common terrace and our garden apart from the balcony with their room, if any. Guests can always come sit with us in our drawing cum dining room. During your stay Our family is always available for the guest in case they want any suggestions or a chat about ins and outs of Delhi - its restaurants, its history, its go to places for this and that and more. It is always exciting to share our culture with the guest and also getting to know about their families back home and their country/culture over a cup of freshly brewed masala tea or coffee! Other things to note -Mandatory documents required at check in - Valid Travel documents i.e. Passport and Visa (in case of international traveler) and valid government issued photo IDs except PAN card (for domestic travelers) for ALL GUESTS staying. -Guests with Delhi domicile are not entertained due to instructions from local police authorities. -If you wish to smoke please do so on the terrace or in the driveway/garden. -We lock the house gates at 11pm for security purpose. These timings are flexible on request. In case a guest is reaching after the gates are shut, they can ring the bell right next to the gate and we will be happy to let them in.
