Our natural, over 100-year-old thatched roof house is located between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven at sea level in the UNESCO World Heritage Site North Sea Wattenmeer near typical shrimp cutter ports. A very quiet place for rest and relaxation. The independent apartment was creatively and unconventionally renovated in 2017 in the former stable area. - fireplace - curtain-free - Bathtub without curtain - Spiders possible (thatched roof) The space In the large eat-in kitchen with fireplace, you can relax even in bad weather. From the kitchen side there is a direct exit to the small terrace to the south side of the house and in the rain you can sit under the shed canopy in the lounge area. The bathroom is designed with a tub without a shower curtain and colorful tiles. Next to it is the bedroom. Upstairs there is a cozy lounge with the fold-out sofa bed. The rear apartment is hung with curtains in front of the glass wall from both sides. Guest access You have a separate house entrance with glass doors without a curtain! to the front half of the house directly from the courtyard, where you can also park the car. There are no curtains in front of the glass window door... if someone comes by, they can look in ;) Other things to note The poor reception in the house for mobile devices also contributes to the peace and quiet... a few steps on the Altendeich and the masts send again :-) The GPS system sometimes ends at the Padingbütteler fire brigade pond... then just continue past the fire station on the right hand... until the thatched roof house comes on the right side after about 1 km (the other houses are all on the left). The nearest shops are in Dorum and at Dorum harbor, 4-8 km away. Since it is a 100+ year old thatched roof house, there are sometimes spiders that like to hide in the corners and the old beams.... we do our best to keep them out of the house. I am very happy about the apartment, which was created in the former animal stables with hayloft and have furnished it to our taste practically creative, unconventional and with attention to detail... tastes are different ;-) THERE ARE LINENS AND TOWELS for all guests... one guest had indicated that as missing... don't know why.
