Stay on a charming houseboat in the Rockaways!

Relax on The B-Side, a beautiful 34-foot, '68 Nautaline houseboat, gut-renovated in 2020! Located in a private, gated marina, 2 blocks from the subway and 4 blocks from the beach. Grocery store located right outside the marina and close to great restaurants and bars. Houseboat equipped with kitchen, bedding, towels and other amenities. Custom built-ins become two queen-sized beds. Perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4. Bathroom and shower located on land in a shared facility. The space The houseboat has been renovated and designed by 4 friends as a get-a-way from the city. Hang in the open, airy interior space or on one of the three outdoor decks. Large dining table perfect for games and meals and comfortable sectional for lounging. Both were custom-built for the space and turn into queen-sized beds. The kitchen is equipped with an electric burner, fridge, sink, Nespresso coffee maker and all basic cooking utensils. There is also a propane grill on the back deck. The space is perfect for 2 people, but can accommodate 4 (additional fees apply). PLEASE NOTE: There is no bathroom on the boat. A well-maintained, clean, shared bathroom is located on land in the marina and includes toilets, showers and a changing area. Also, note that the houseboat can not be taken out of the marina by guests as it has no engine. The marina has fishing boats and pontoons available for rent if interested. Please visit their website for information. Lastly, JFK airport is nearby and planes often fly over the bay which can be noisy at times. The marina is a special place. It's populated by local fishermen, surfers and people looking for an easy escape from the city. We love our boat neighbors, so please be respectful and kind! We ask that guests read the manual located on the boat for details about the space, marina and neighborhood. We recommend hitting up the beach a short walk away for sunrise, sunset or all day, or one of the neighborhood's excellent dining/bar options! Guest access Free, gated parking in the marina. Accessible by subway 2 blocks away at Beach 60th Street or a short Uber/Lyft/bus ride from the Rockaway Ferry Terminal at 108th Street .
