Serenity Abode - A calm space in Calangute-Baga.

I grew up in a 150 yrs old Portuguese house and wanted to bring in a few elements from my home to this space. We have retained the Goan-Portuguese aesthetic of the space while providing a comfortable stay with modern amenities. You will wake up to the sound of squirrels & birds that come to the lovely bird bath iv placed in front of this room. Surrounded by mango, love apple and passional fruit trees, you feel truly refreshed and serene. Walking in the property is truly like forest bathing. The Goan Laterite stone forms the backdrop to the large bed and the large antique vase and cupboard add that extra Goan look and feel. The floor is smooth red-oxide keeping in mind the kitchens of bygone days. The bathroom has a grey tone, taking you back to the old Goan bathrooms that were generally stone floored and cement walls. A few lovely prints on the walls adds to the charm of the space. We have a swing in the patio to chill in. The room overlooks an old quaint well, a coconut & Mango tree & a Love Apple tree that gives gorgeous fruits when in season. Guest access Guests have access to this room and the garden area. They also have a little balcony overlooking the garden area in front. Other things to note Kindly note- we have pets who live with us on this property. Although they will not enter into your room (unless you invite them to :-)). But we have 4 extremely friendly furry dogs who wait for a chance to greet our guests. They will make you feel very welcome. Only book this room if you are comfortable with dogs. - Complimentary daily cleaning. - Complimentary Linen change after 3 nights. - Bottled water can be provided at a small charge in the room. - We provide you with filtered drinking water. - We would require govt. id proof and an id copy at the time of check in. - In our quest to be more sustainable and reduce our carbon footprint, we request all our guests to be mindful and switch off all Electricals when stepping out.
